bite

love

Squeak - taking a huge bite out of her apple. Now if we could teach her to eat all of it instead of me finding half eaten apples strategically left throughout the house.

Imp - Coerced me into making some more playdough and then spent the next hour creating with some Birdy playing in the background. I just love her lashes in this one.

Joining in, as on every Sunday with Jodi from Che and Fidel for the 52 Project.

  3. Lovely photos, our youngest is similar with apples. He tends to suck the juice out of each piece he bits and then drops it on the floor! x

    1. Gah! Nothing worse when you are walking barefoot, only to be greeted by pre-sucked apple bits!

  7. What is it with the half-eaten apples - we find them in the most unexpected places too. I try and try to get them to share an apple (half each, all eaten is my goal), but they want the whole one. That round shape seems so important.

You've captured the apple saga so well here. One for us to remember.

    1. Ok I am definitely seeing a pattern emerge here. Unexpected is right! She leaves them in the most random of places.

  8. Lovely! There's something not quite right about a child that ways the whole apple. I think they're genetically hard wired to only eat half. Messily!

  10. Beautiful photos! Love the tone. My kids do the same with pears and apples - half-eaten and left on the coffee table. ;) Jo

    1. Well at least they are left on the coffee table. I found one in a shoe once.

  13. Those lashes are dramatic! Playdough is so satisfying to make. I like making it in pastel colours, dyeing it with beetroot juice.

    1. It is so easy too. I use a recipe out of Waldorf Homeschooling book I have here and the girls love helping me make it. Oh am I going to have to try beetroot juice now. Thanks for the tip.
