hiding

Squeak - where she is her happiest. Digging in the dirt. If I had to describe her in a sentence I would use "noise with some dirt on it.'

Imp - waiting to pop up while Squeak sings "Pop goes the weasel." She dresses in the most individual and funkiest way.

    1. If she could, she would live in it. The dinosaurs come out to play with her. The other day she made them a mud bath with some rain water she collected and her precious dirt. She then decorated the outside of the house, Husband's boots and the deck with it. Hmmm.

    1. And she does it with so much gusto. She then chases her sister around, who is not a fan of mud, with her hands clenched like claws and growling. It's hard not to laugh.

    1. Oh Tracy you are an enabler!!! We are possibly about to do a big move so we will wait until we settle there first before putting a dog in the mix but a rescue greyhound is top of the list of dogs to look at.

    1. Now I have that song from Playschool in my head. The Hippopotamus Song:

      "Mud, mud, glorious mud
Nothing quite like it for cooling the blood
So follow me follow, down to the hollow
And there let me wallow in glorious mud"

    1. That is the one thing I miss about being a child is just the hours of play. Maybe I should learn to recapture that.

    1. Oh yes cardboard boxes are a big hit here too. I saw something on pinterest where someone stuck all the boxes together and made a big tunnel/maze. When we move, I will have to try that.

    1. Nothing better than getting out and feeling the earth on your skin. However me getting splashed with water, as Husband is an avid fan of squirting me with the hose, and I look like an angry cat clambering to get away.

  22. Digging in the dirt, my boys favourite outdoor activity. We have to limit it unfortunately the red dirt here is impossible to remove.
My middle always used to dress himself in very imaginative ways as well. People used to comment but I always said well if you don't dress like that now you will have to wait until you are 80 before it will be acceptable again. Go Imp!!!
Just realised I haven't followed you despite visiting frequently....... remedied :)
